On the Lamb Games - Brushfire Kickstarter Campaign

On the Lamb Games started a kickstarter campaign for their Brushfire Scyzantium and Chugoku factions:

That's where this Kickstarter comes in: We want Scyzantium and Chugoku to get their models sooner rather then later!
This simple $2000 goal will allow us to get Jason Wiebe of Reaper Miniatures fame to sculpt up the Veiled Assassin and Vizier models for Scyzantium. This will also cover their molding and initial casting costs.

  1. Kickstarter really has been an often used funding method lately.

Can't say I'm a big fan of Brushfire myself, but there's quite a bit of potential there. So good to see if getting exposure.

  2. I pledged for 4 projects so far (3 of them gaming related) and I can't wait to get my stuff :)

    1. Same here, same here, seven project in thus far (4 gaming related). Really happy to be able to support such initiatives like Deep Wars and Effigy Games, which is of course also somewhat fueled by self-interest ;-)

Quite nice to see people picking on the the Brushfire campaign, roughly 65% of the first goal within 1 day. Should be very interesting to see how this develops, if the funding goes well enough it will really give a big push to an interesting company!

    2. Thanks :) We're really excited with how quickly its been going, and we hope that it keeps up. We've got alot of stuff planned for 'stretch goals' that we've been wanting to do, but haven't been able to with the tiny budget we work with.

If nothing else, it will be great to finally get Scyzantium out. Jason Wiebe will do a fantastic job with them.

    1. Daniel is sculpting up a Valkyr pilot and mechanic currently. We want to make sure the Valkyr could realistically house a gerbil.

      Also, 64% in day one!

    3. Do you have an actual gerbil at work to test this?
Wait, maybe I don't want to know...

      :p

    4. Not currently, my college roommate had one though.

Daniel does have Chickens on hand though for when he starts sculpting Chugoku stuff...
