Now you all want to know what you need to do.
It is a bit more complicated than usual, but as you might know I am writing a weekly news round-up for Bell of Lost Souls. Usually I get like 20 comments, which is fine, but this time I want MORE!
So, here is the deal: I will post a link to the new article (that will most likely be published on friday). You need to post a comment until monday 11:59 PM EST (it's BoLS, so don't worry about spamming :) ).
You also need to send an email to ttf.contest(at)gmail.com to actually entering the give-away with the nickname you used on BoLS.
(Please note: With entering the contest you agree that your name will be published if you are one of the winner).
Important: Entries are limited to one per email-address.
I know that some people will try to enter multiple times with multiple addresses, but to be honest, it would be just to much work to check all entries and to try to clarify if someone entered more than once. But on the other hand, it is hard to predict how many entries will get and how much work it would be to check them all... In the end it's still a random number generator that will decide, therefore just trust in your Karma :)
You're a braver man than I, do be able to hold models such as these and willingly part with them. Looking forward to this competition, haven't had much luck with the last few!

I won't check if somebody cheated, but at least use different email accounts because I will remove doubles coming from the same account.
While you only have a few posts more than bols, your blog is infinitely better. I check it on a daily basis and while i normally dont comment i appreciate what you've created here. The fact no one posts stupid fanboy comments only serves to strengthen it. If not for this blog i would miss 90% of these great non gw miniatures. Thank you and please keep up the good work.

ReplyDeleteBoLS and TTF serve completely different purposes and therefore I won't say one is better than the other. And our philosophies are way different, too, I try to be as objective as possible and BoLS often tries to polarize and make you think.
And as somebody who writes for both I can tell you that one BoLS article is way more work than a complete daily update for the Fix.
Thanks for the answer. I was curious about the amount of posts, since Spikey Bits recently ran a contest where each of your comments posted equaled another entry in their contest. I wanted to make sure if posting a lot would increase our chances.
