Multiverse Gaming - Wave 2 Preview

Multiverse Gaming published new details about their wave 2 range:

We've shown you the first previews for Wave 2 back in October and toyed with some ideas since then - with different results. The Pawn Shop kit already gave you an idea about the level of detail you can expect from Wave 2, but today, with just days from the release of first of our Brownstone Row kits, we can finally tell you what it's all about.

* designs based on classic US brick and brownstone buildings in NY and Chicago

* walls combining 2-4 layers of HDF and matte board allow for great looking 3D details and completely hidden joints

* several different style variants for apartment floors and roofs; all of these variants will be interchangeable with others of the same footprint, so you can mix and match different kits for unique looks; four footprints of different shape and size are in the works

* opening doors, removable roofs, optional staircases

* each kit will come with enough sheets of HobbyGlass to cover all the windows in the building; some window options will come with additional sliding frames like the ones you've seen on the preview picture at the end of September

* shops and commercial venues: most of the kits will be tenement buildings with some sort of commercial venue located on the ground level; we don't want to spoil too much, but the venues are specifically chosen to make a fitting hideout for your supervillains in superhero miniature games... watch this space closely

* overtime we will upload free PDF printouts to our webstore, allowing you to easily decorate the Brownstone Row interiors
