Happy New Year!

Hello everybody,
it's the last hours of 2014 (or the first of 2015, depending on where you are) and it's traditionally the time to have a look back.

I got the feeling that I had less time to take care of the Fix in the past months, but looking at the numbers I was shocked to see that I posted over 5000 articles this year! That's almost 20% more than in 2013 and about 14 each day, or one every 102 minutes! Crazy! I also broke the "18.000 posts" mark earlier in December.

August 2014 was the month with the most pageviews so far (165.677!) and looking at the overall statistics I am amazed about how successful my little project is. Thank you all, especially those who are regular commentators!

I think these numbers are testament of what an amazing year this has been. It is a great time to be a wargamer, and although I had close to no time to paint and play, I am looking forward to spending more time on the hobby in 2015. Maybe I get a hobby blog, too. I'll let you know ;)

What will 2015 bring?
There will be a break in late January because I am moving again. Shouldn't be too crazy, but I guess it will take a couple of weeks to get settled. Then I am still tempted to get a facebook account for the Fix to get more reach, but that might lead to a lot more work and this is still a one-man-show. Maybe it's time for a new recruitment attempt, so if you are interested in helping out, let me know.
Beside that, the Tabletop Fix will turn 5 on August 29th, so I guess that calls for a proper celebration!

I'll be back with news tomorrow! And again: Thank you all!

  5. Happy New Year. Thanks for giving me a constant source of temptation. I fell under the spell of those Infamy figures today... ouch... that cost a bit...
