That's our mission statement.
And we will still stick to this, but there will be a change on the Fix.
You will see a single advertisement on the blog in the future. It will be located directly above the articles.
But it won't be anything we get paid for. What we are going to do is joining Santa Cruz Warhammer in their "Ads for Charity" campaign.
And this is how it works:
A company donates 100 $ for a premium package to a charity of their choice. We will never get any money, handle any money or even see any money. It goes from the company directly to the charity. No strings attached.
The company gives us prove of the donation, and with that they gain the right to put an ad on our blogs for one month.
You can read about all the details in this article on Santa Cruz Warhammer.
It is for a good cause.
And as you see, it is nothing that impairs any of our principles.
Comments are welcome, I would really like to know what you think about this idea.
As director of a charity, I think it would be even better if you could advertise the chosen charity as well! After all, that could help drum up some additional support for the organization, and we all know that in these tough economic times, charities need all the help they can get!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great thing you're doing, TTF! It's tough for me to imagine anyone having a problem with this sort of advertising, especially as it does not appear to be intrusive and it's for a good cause. Good luck!
ReplyDeleteThanks guys!
