The tl;dr version of a megagame is it's a super-sized social event that combines aspects of board games, role-playing games and plain old theatrics. Players join a team with it's own plans and goals as they try to navigate international political machinations. Also, there are aliens! Alien teams have their own agendas, and everyone tries to get along and not blow up the planet.
